New Virtual Wilderness Getaway

I have had a dream catcher over my bed for the last 20 years. It is not that fancy although I have made additions to it (crystal and feathers). I rarely have bad dreams.

My dream catcher seems to have worked. Apparently, I was to have another bad dream and the dream catcher caught it. I don't remember any dreams from last night.

I painted the feathers for it. That was the first time doing that but I plan to do some more! These aren't my pics but they are an example of what I'm talking about.

Mine came out looking at lot like those except for the triangle and diamond shapes.


I'll have to stop being so lazy and get my own camera out sometime.

Actually, mine don't look near that nice. Those were done on white feathers and with better supplies and more skill, lol


Mine are done on brown goose feathers I collected.

My little dream catcher is a prototype. I've never made one before and just threw this together late last night. It was fun and I have lots better ideas for the next one.

 

It looks to me like a lot of skill was involved with yours too. That is cool.

I hope it continues to filter the bad dreams.

This isn't wilderness, but I took the pic while walking on a paved walking trail.

 

That's nice expanse. More and more places in my area are striving to include some of the wilderness feel in-town and that's very nice for people. I think everyone should have close access to some surroundings that feel a little wild.
