New Virtual Wilderness Getaway

Here, it's a bit hazy still. The moon looks like it has a fuzzy halo. I'll be going back out. Maybe I'll take my camera.

 

The natural cycles of the Earth and skies have much to teach us and guide us still. Be still. Look. Listen.

The Harvest Moon in October may be more stunning. We will have to wait and see how this moon tonight develops.

It's heartwarming.

 

The acorns are fairly large this year. I've asked the squirrels if I might have a handful of them. I want to paint them like these.

 

I walk Grace around 3 am every morning. The moon has been amazing the last couple mornings.

 

I've taken a few pictures, not of the moon because I don't have a strong enough telephoto lens, but the colours it has cast have been gorgeous resulting in some neat photos.

It's turned so cold here the last few days.I'm looking forward to taking pictures of the fall colours that should be happening soon.
