Teach the Mayans how to count past 5125

 

Accompany "Vanilla Gorilla" in teaching the Mayans. lol.......

 

My new years resolution is to not make any new years resolutions...

 

This is the most interesting resolution, I have ever come across in my life.

 

Aw leave the Mayans alone All they said would end was a calendar and you can always get a new one - I've seen about twenty today. We replace ours every one year and prices go up to £8! I think they were onto something, frankly!

 

WTF?! They (Mayans) ran out of paper is all that happened. There was a paper shortage for god's sake!

 

Ah but will you be able to stick to it?...

Actually it is rather amusing, their named periods are represented by 7 glyphs (pictograms), wont bore you with the details, but basically they way they use it, gets too complicated after just over 5000 years.


Although havent been able to find anyone that actually says they said the world was going to end, just transition. But basically yeah, cos they couldnt count past a certain number.

A laugh, but its a lot like Y2K, lets program computers, but lets only set two fields for the year cos no one thought about what happens after 99

No resolutions for me. Something I always need to work on is my attitude. So I'll continue to work on that.
