^yeah, and what are they willing to add or put in or genetically fuck with it to get the highest quality product??? You know they won't give a fuck about adding anything cause all that they will care about by that time is $$

If genetically modified consumables were such a major problem, everyone worldwide with the exception of third world hunter/gatherers would be slowly dying. Yet average lifespans raise higher and higher. Almost everything you eat every day has been tampered with. Even if you shop at whole foods. lol. The future is something I embrace, even if nature is something that needs to be sacrificed. All they care about in our current situation is $$, and thats all they'll ever care about. Frankly, I have no problem with it. Like I said, I embrace it.

Well I always imagined it would be run not unlike the MMJ system. Designated stores ( kinda like liquor stores) where someone sells there weed. And grow it as well.

Regardless of how and where it is sold, I look forward to the day when I can just walk into a store and buy a pack of 20 pre-rolled joints or a pack of 5 pre-rolled blunts, just like packs of cigarettes and cigars. lol

Small time businesses will never compete with corporations. Such is life. Don't get me wrong, I NEVER get munchies at 7-11, always the mom and pop store with the good vibe and the nice owners that always greet/converse/know their customers. But reality's harsh. Big business will always rule. Did the government bailout help a single small town business? No.
Most definitely. And it seems like that time might come soon. Within the next 10-20 years. Eh, relatively soon. Considering the war on drugs was started ~80 years ago.

yeah, it wouldn't be the government, while you could get cheap weed, you could also get fancy bomb-ass motherfuckin weed. (sorta like beer compaired to hard liquor)

as for the guy down the street, I don't know him, do you? He would still be able to grow and sell, and be able to do it legaly. If it's that great he'd probably have a legit buisness. I don't really know how some random guy is growing better herb than the profesional bud farmers, but it doesn't really matter. It wouldn't change anything.

We need the shitty economy to stay shitty a bit longer. The shittier the economy is and the less money the government has, then the more ways theyre going to resort to save/make money. Our government just raised taxes, VAT and lowered benefits, dole, pensions etc. The only good thing that was lowered in the budget was alcohol  Fianna Fáil will never change though, theyve been too corrupt and useless for too long and they get away with it so why would they change...
Although its good news for Amerdicans, looks like the pace is being picked up there and public tolerance of MJ rising :cheers2:

Just hope they don't slap all the crap in weed they do in tobacco, mandating harmful chemicals be added as filler, fertilizer and preservatives in the end product. Of course they will, it's more profitable to sell filler... And then when the death counts rise they will point and gasp and exclaim "We were right, it is bad for you!!" and promptly give each other reach around's like the strokes they are.

That will happen for sure, but I assume there will always be organic weed, and you will be able to grow your own without getting date raped by the government

    Lucky you USA

Over here we are taking the opposite apprach. Last year marijuana was raised from Class C to Class B (Which basically means harsher penalites for those caught possessing cannabis) despite protests from government scientists saying its not dangerous and that the move was unwarranted.

To top that off, even more recently the governments cheif scientist got the sack for saying that marijuana is not that dangerous and should be put back to Class C, if not decriminalised.

    Fucking scum.

Yeah I saw that in the news, he basically said that its not harmful compared to alcohol or tobacco and it wasnt even an official statement to the government but he was fired immediately for...well..for expressing his opinion! load of shite. Between the UK and Ireland the laws are fucked though
