It's hard not to wonder how many buildings aren't at - but remain near - the threshold that separates immediate sickness from slight deterioration, with the latter of the two playing a role in health issues down the road. That said, I think the school teachers and officials who survived those trying hours of being high aren't quite as near martyrdom as they'd like to have us believe.
