I watched Bernie Sanders great speech from Chicago, as well as Bill Nye's impassioned speech from D.C.

All sorts of people. Funny, I don't see any red hats anywhere. Do those peeps still exist or are they just paid media actors on Fox?

 

There's a reddish/orangish non-maga hat in this group.

So MAGA, how do you like the way Republicans and their slavish media portrayed this ultimate expression of democracy as being a Hate America rally?

Who really hates America? The Republicans who shutdown the government, laying off thousands of workers. Stopping the distribution of desperately needed SNAP payments for food! They're sending the military into the streets to intimidate immigrants.

Republicans seem to Love Hitler, Nazism, dictatorships, criminals, bigotry, misogyny, racism, anti-LGBT, etc.

Fucking hypocrites!

 

Great speech from Bernie. I got fairly close to the stage, I have a fuzzy picture of him. I didn’t take many pictures but it was a great crowd, so wonderful to be around so many people that have similar views as me. There were lots of costumes, especially animals. We had, not 1, but 2 Jesus’s. One Jesus said to the other, things are so bad they needed 2 of us to show up.
Bill Nye, Science guy was awesome also Chris Murphy, Dem from Conn had a great speech as well. lots of military sharpshooters on the rooftops, huge guns. Thankfully not needed.
My favorite sign was held by an old man. It said “ my dad fought fascism in ‘42, now it is my turn.”

Protests: so many people say to me, why attend, you’re not going to change anything. However, I return from protests full of energy and most importantly hope. I think we must not lose hope. Keep fighting until the end.
