I dont consider them to be amazing, innovative, or revolutionary in any way, shape, or form. Oh and music is my life btw.
Well you either like NIN or you don't. But getting back to the original question about NIN concerts. On their "With Teeth" tour I saw them 23 times. Each concert was different. The song order changes and even some of the songs they play. Trent almost always gets pissed at something that happens during the concert. I have seen him smack his guitarist during the concert. I have seen him break things. It was always a good time. If you want to move and shake you need to be in the pit. If you want to be mellow, sit down and watch people have a good time the pit, the stands are for you. If you are weenie and afraid you are going to get hurt in the pit....stay the fuck out of the pit. The left side of the pit is always less active.(less chance to get trampled) I enjoyed every concert I went to of theirs. Even the one that destroyed a relationship I was in. But that is another topic
august 5th i cannot wait to see them it'll be my first time thinking about pits the left side is usually safer i usually grab a guy to protect me and make my way as close to the stage as i can i love pits but i am a girl
yeah, at the mars volta this guy who was "protecting his woman" was fucking shoving the shit out of me. fucking cocksuckers. if you can't fend for yourself, get out of the pit... :toetap05: ps i had my man to protect me, too. though i'll have to say i was standing my ground better than the other chick...
VNV Nation has some cool tunes ("Chrome" was my main song in the winter). Combichrist is pretty funny. And The Prodigy isn't industrial nor rock.
Yeah, Combichrist is kinda funny. The Prodigy are pioneers of industrial music. Are you on crack? (They do some shitty dance and some hardcoreish stuff too though)
There should'nt have been a pit at a TMV show anyway None of the band supports that and occasionally will ask the audience not to form any slam or mosh pits. Instead they should mong out or dance like crazy fools iggy: who cares if the creators of freebird were racist, its the creation that you listen to.
You have to excuse me, sometimes I forget how poorly sarcasm carries across the internet lol
It's funny how I wouldn't kill a cockroach, but I would totally blow Maynard's head off with a shotgun.
I love boston to the point that it's a little ridiculous. they make me feel good. probably because when I was glowing after my very first night of acid, I watched the sun rise and drove home with all the windows down and everything looking like I was watching an HD-television, with boston's "Dont Look Back" playing on the radio at full blast. it's so corny I just love it. feel good! :cheers2:
I always considered them electropunk. They're not dark enough to be industrial. In my opinion. But music changes. Twisted Sister and Bon Jovi were considered heavy metal once.
I am not, yet I truly cannot vouch for Eno. I just listen to GOOD aggressive music: Sepultura, Asschapel, Tragedy, RATM, Neurosis, Meshuggah, Bathtub Shitter, Anal ****, Coffins, Enslaved, Fear, His Hero is Gone, Iggy and the Stooges, and many others... Death metal, black metal, punk, crust, hardcore... You know... not faggoty industrial shit.
