As if vegetarians don't kill animals.

See that computer in front of you? Heavy metals from it will leech into the groundwater after you throw it in the trash, poisoning dozens of animals. The power you are unnecessarily using to type these responses is most likely generated from coal or hydro power, both of which directly kill plenty of animals.

And you don't strictly need your computer. It might be more convenient than a typewriter, or more entertaining than a book. But I hardly think convenience or entertainment are more moral reason to slaughter innocent animals than the sheer pleasure of the way they taste.

Ignorance of the sin you're committing is a far cry from innocence.

Did I ever claim to have a sould "clean of the death of animals"? No. But thank you for admitting that killing animals is in fact a sin. I, as a vegan, reduce animal suffering by not using any animal products. I am not yet on the level of a Jain (in that they attempt to kill no animals) Vegetarians and vegans kill wayyyyyyyyy less animals than meat eaters, so we are doing our part. But yes, thank you for admitting it to be a sin.

My bad. I didn't realize that somebody who kills only one baby has the moral authority to lecture somebody whose killed 2.

Please be respectful enough not to lump meat eaters with rapists. My decision to consume small amounts of meat as part of a larger balanced diet is a nutritional decision not a moral one.

    Its all about moderation.

None of us can be alive with out killing aimals, its tough shit!

With that said, we don't have to kill nearly as many as we do our do it in such a bad way.
