It always was if all you're going to do is run around like a headless chicken, screaming about some Islamist take-over.

Its just a continuation of the age-old conspiracy theory that "they" are out to take over "us" and swamp our culture. Today it's Islam, yesterday it was the Jews, the communists, the Yellow Peril, white slavers, drug peddlars... there's always been someone we - or at least some of us - seem to want to believe are out to threaten our way of life.

So some guy burnt some poppies... a fairly non-violent act of protest, you might think... in a country that supposedly prides itself on free speech. And its the end of the world as we know it.

But he's one guy. He'll be massively out-numbered by all the British/Asians who just think he's a looney. He doesn't represent them any more than a British/white BNP activist represents me.
