I was reading an amazing article about crows yesterday. Apparently they can recognize individual human faces...AND they communicate well enough to describe faces to other crows. They can consciously change their migration patterns based on circumstances.

There was some town where the crows decided to congregate for a while each year - thousands of them. The farmers were upset because the crows were wrecking crops. So finally they decided to do something about it, and they went on a crow-killing spree. They killed exactly one crow. The rest flew away - and never came back to that town.

It must be amazing to have a crow for a friend.

its a sunny gorgeous morning day here today...i wish you could all be here helping me slug wood around my property.....some of you in your wood chore yoga pants....and others just in your everydau high heels and fish net stockings......libra...you wear coveralls.....the rest in your gayharts

i noticed the lake is just about completely open water now...hopefully they will move to the summer dock soon enough

One guess as to whom I thought of when I read this.
I do care though. Well, a lot of the time. Too much.

I gave her hell this morning...it doesn't make any damn difference, but sometimes I just give in to my urge to scream and hurl myself against the bars of my prison cell.

On a lighter note...there's two new Stephen King movies coming out. One is a second remake of Carrie.​

 

I own 15 king novels...only finshed 3 of them... The Stand, Salems Lot, The Long Walk...

my sun is pretty much gone

i think i might plant just 4 things this summer....melons,tomatoes,pumpkins,zuchinis....easier to take of big patches of less things.....might throw a bean plant onto the porch too just to pick off and eat when i'm out there

last year very few of the cherry tomatoes made it all the way back to the house...we were eating them off the vine as fast as they were ripening....so tasty when they are fresh off the vine at 6 am on a beautiful august morning
