well no its not a double decker but it doees have another half a bus on the back and a bug on the front....solarioum in the middle......

the problem is I on the road all the time with woprk.....hahahah the universe blesses me with a highway that pays!!!


so I dont have time to work on the bus....its ongoing....oh the tghing about the highway child is not every body is suited with the fanily as it prgresses, so people shift....im trying to nix that problem with adding another bus into the community as well as our sister buses and caravaning folk.....the way its going is that our main source of inceome will be products imported and sold at6 shows.....it seems like the best way to go for making profit for each member as wekk as providing fr the journey which is of course the fundamental means of highwaychild.........any ideas are welcomed at this point

yeah so its an evolving structure, I want to create a sustainable system of economics as well as a greater community more so than just one bus but many buses and cars people and animals travelling continually,

from what I have experienced some sort of sales seems to work, hemp jewlery has always been my gig, just because its easy to teach how to make and a quick sell. allthough if it is a long term community importing may be a wiser means of sustainable income.

now Im just throwing out ideas, but say every new member comes with a certain amount for the pot, the pot finally grows where a ticket to say thailand is bought with a few thousand to purchase with, if thats done once a year it should be able to be enough to support the community, but I dont want to limit it to that I mean it could be many things that provide...right now Im just working on NEW ideas how a larger community can thrive on the road.

yeah we can get in big trouble for bringing minors accross state lines.
but I mean there can be exceptions, ryan was on the bus from sanfran to here he crossed the border but he was emancipated and had written proof.

I just got a camper Van, ill have it on the road in about a month, maybe ill follow you around for a bit. Im in fredericton New brunswick and im lookin to do some road trippin this summer.

 

Hi. Didn't have time to read all your posts. Where you at? Did you ever convert to WVO? I live in Oregon and have just learned how to do it and I'm posting all over the place seeing if i can help anyone (free). Gotta pay for parts though, probably be around 600 for a bus...I'm from Canada too, Toronto, originally, but I'm a gypsy too, been all over up there and down here. Done my share of the bus thing too...many adventures...

I just managed to find this thread yesterday, i spent 4 years away from these forums and seems like i have a lot to catch up with...

Well, i havent read all the comments, too many pages, but...

I love what you guys are doing! I live in my van and im basically nomadic for 5 years now. The only difference is, im from Europe and there's where i've been travelling lately. I've been staying in a squatted botanical garden in Barcelona, or in some warm beach in south spain, or in the mountains in France, my farm in portugal... well...Many places to visit!

Have you guys figured out how to make biodiesel?
that's definetly my biggest project, as i can not afford the higher and higher prices of the diesel, besides the fact that depending of these oil companies drive me insane!

if we get the bus up and ready....I know for sure we are travelling next summer, we plan to drive from here to the yukon then south down the coast threw the states mexico all the way to brazil where the bus is going on a frieght boat over to northern africa (morroco) then were doing eruope....yeah hoghway childs going global!!!

were trying to get a contract signed to do a documentory this time....
