no no it's not hard to comprehend at all. the guy who wrote it, just basically took all the facts of a true story, although it doesn't seem to be true because it's so noble and fascinating, but he just tells the story really well, incldes a lot of detail, throws in a few of his own experiences relating to the main character. ever since i read it i promised myself i would make my way to alaska to go and see the fairbanks bus 142 where chris mccandless stayed for all those months. it gave me a new perspective.
