Yeah definitely more bitter than the 2010 Hofmanns. I would even go so far as to say DOx's are more bitter than xanax, and xanax is one of the most bitter things that my tongue has ever made contact with.

Any worse than a Mimosa brew without removing the tannins? That is the single most bitter, awful taste I have ever experienced... worth it though. 40 hours sounds like a bitch to plan for though.

No, I guess mimosa brew is pretty bad. I've only had it once, and I couldn't get past the taste enough to drink more than a couple of sips. I'm referring to a powerfully bitter CHEMICAL taste though. At least mimosa tastes natural, whereas the DOx compounds just taste like something that should never enter your body. The trip/high is amazingly wonderful though, ime.

True, mimosa tastes natural... I have found that most true psychedelics, LSD aside, taste god-awful. Price of admission, my friend, price of admission.

Cost: One set of taste buds
Reward: One way ticket to your mind

Mimosa still takes the cake for me, but cacti are indeed pretty vile tasting. better off capping the powder imho, but some people don't mind the taste. I have yet to find one person that thinks either mimosa hostilis + syrian rue, or ayahuasca (note, there is a difference), tastes good. LSD is very conducive to consumption, whereas DMT naturally is hard to get at, keeping only those who are determined from seeing what's on the other side of those doors. But what a sight it is...

I hope all of you realize how lucky you are to have a plug on such a wonderful chemical!

We do not speak about the unspeakable crimes against tastebuds by our green spiney friends

Not to get too far off topic, but at first glance, I had always thought that cactus would taste like cucumber, or something like that. Boy, was I wrong.

i'm not sure what to imagine a psychedelic cactus to taste like.

i don't really mind the taste of mushrooms either. at least from what i remember from a few years ago. they didn't taste good really, but not THAT bad either. the one tiny one i ate last month tasted fine. but was definitely not enough to trip from.
