If I was at 2024 candidate and it was so close it was 50/50 like that and I was asked what would I do on my first day in office I would say I'm going to end the daylight savings time.

"the people REALLY in charge of the world"---I think we can get some idea of who they are occasionally for their names are mentioned periodically in the news. However you and I will never really be able to ACTUALLY know who makes the decisions about products, taxes, wars, how businesses run their scams on the public,etc IMO. We are a part of the masses who pay most if not all the taxes that are collected, are subjected to the scams and machinations of businesses legal and illegal. We don't matter much--we're not real people--we are consumers. Those who consume. That's the important part. We need to shut up and take what we're given. We need to shut up and shuffle off to the latest war if necessary. To die and be damn glad about it. To those that have attempted to improve society over the decades--it's one step forward and two steps backward. And now---we are about to learn the names of the latest batch of power hungry ner'do wells that are intent on teaching us just how stupid a majority of us really are. No problem--the main thing is to---BUY MORE. BUY MORE NOW.
