Should probably go for 3 if you wanna see any real change from what you've already experienced.

Yea me and my twin bro got about 10 nuts ate about 5 a piece and the next 6 hours were just very relaxing, mild perifieral visions but nothing hallucinogenic, really at all. I'd stick to MG, that's my next exotic plant encounter

I get very mild effects from nutmeg unless i combine it with smoking
I get mdma like euphoria if i eat 3 whole nutmegs and smoke some green. I only use it on a rare occasion due to it being harmful for the liver.

I will probably try it again in the future since the high is so nice when combined with weed. The only drug that comes close to this combo for me is lsa and weed.

The potency of the seeds varies alot though. I sometimes get just a mild and nearly placebo like high from 3 while other times i might get quite good effects even from just two. This is probably why people overdose on this stuff.

It is most definitely a drug according to what i have read. Something from a study on nutmeg: M. fragrans extract-induced antidepressant-like effect in the TST. Thus, extract of M. fragrans elicited a significant antidepressant-like effect in mice, when assessed in both the TST and the FST. The antidepressant-like effect of the extract seems to be mediated by interaction with the adrenergic, dopaminergic, and serotonergic systems.
