There's two types of Polish people.

The first type has ardent hatred for Germans because of the war.
The second type doesn't mind Germans because of the war.

Now generally the ones who are interested in the war, their families were helped out, not destroyed, lands held and so on. These folk have an interest in learning about the war and don't really shame Germany for what's happened. The interesting thing is it's a very small percentage which hovers around the same percentage of Aryan Poles that was fit enough for the Aryanization process. Coincidence? I'm not too sure. Poland was extremely anti-Semitic well before World War Two. Their movements at the time far outweighed whatever Hitler had against them. "Poland for the Poles" was a frequently used slogan coming into the 30s. The Poles saw a tremendous influx of Jews in the country and a large portion of the Polish community did not like what they were seeing. Good reasons too. Poland was an almighty empire in the Middle Ages with a strategic position in Europe that allowed every nation to trade with it. It has winding rivers that spread throughout Europe and the West and North could easily access the country through trade routes across the Baltic. She wasn't the empire it used to be though come 19th century and what the population was seeing was a new culture coming through and they didn't like where it was headed. So no, Poland was never this safe ally and friendly ally a lot of people think. They had their own regimes and Hitler decided that if he'd storm the country, it would make a greater Germany, which is why certain cities you hear about were given back to Germans as the war went on and on. Etc.

So yeah, you're going to have your really angry hate German Poles and then the ones who don't really care. But the ones who are angry, beat assume that not nice things happened to their families.

I know few Polish boys but their parents in one case were taken from Poland to work in arms factories in Germany. So, their family was helped by Germans. They worked, got paid, housed fed etc. and survived more importantly.

well, at least my fish wont be overcrowded like the big fisheries. i dont really care for most fish. i will eat it, but only because its food. im okay with salmon, tuna and cod. still not willingly putting it on the menu. its probably more beneficial to the chickens when i get them, compared to factory chicken farming than it is for the fish in my small pond versus the big fisheries. but if im gonna eat the stuff, i might as well raise it too. i wont make them eat bass poop. i promise.

btw, hubby decided on salmon for dinner, he wants to grill them. they happen to be wild caught, assuming the bag is truthful.

there is a rainbow trout farm near here that got their nets/cages damaged....i cant remember if it was deliberate or a storm

lots of people fish near there now because they are so easy to catch

i think a lot of people imagine fish farms as farms with ponds but these were just pens floating in the regular waters ...lake huron to be exact

I've been to trout farms before and they were just like big swimming pools full of trout. There'd be a dam or stream on the farm property where you could recreationally fish. Now I remember my grandaddy, I caught a trout and I was still young, maybe 7? And he said I had to hold it. Nope. Not happening. :D and I still have the fear of touching fish. But anyway, was a good sized trout. So he gets rocks and bangs it's head and both its eyes popped out!!

    Memory burn.

Not sure if it's coincidence or just when I started all my bills but they all seem to be due on the 5th with only a couple exceptions.

Oh that's so much different than the trout farms I went to. Lol. Mine were like kept in silo looking pools all around the place,
Similar overview but different at the same time if that makes sense.

I remember, and for some reason I always remember feeding animals, but you'd throw in pellets and watch the water become like.. Piranhas or something.

when we used to go to six flags great adventure they had a big pond with a bunch of fish with a bridge across it. we would throw in pellets or whatever we were eating (pretzels, ice cream, hot dogs ect) or even if you spit they would be like piranha and eat it all up.

I Googled the statue of David recently because someone mentioned it. God damn that is a really well sculpted piece of art. I knew Mike was talented but I have a whole new level of respect for him.
