we cant call obama a fraud just yet. we have to see what he is going to do, he has made many promises that he hasnt acted upon just yet, so we have to wait.

    http://politifact.com/truth-o-meter/

according to politifact, 434 out of about 500 promises are catagorized as "no action" so we cannot judge him yet.

It would never work, too many kids would fail and schools would lose their funding/accreditation You really can't make people who don't want to learn learn, otherwise you wind up with a school full of drop outs. Like my school for example had a pretty low drop out rate, but for the main subjects classes were divided into Honors, A, B, and C level, sometimes there'd be an AP and elective classes normally had an Honors, A or B level to choose from. Now the town next to me had in theory a "no-fail" policy, in which as long as you showed up to class you'd at least get a 50 and be able to go to summer school. But their class system was the more normal lump everyone into the same classes and make some honors classes and a few AP classes. And their drop out rate is gigantic.(but they night school they have, you can drop out, go to night school, which is that much easier of course, and still get an actual Branford High School diploma, hell people in my town droped out to do that too, one of my friends droped out at the start of 11th grade, but wound up graduating by the end of it a year before everyone else because of that. Our education system is fucked)

well yeah and that's why we suck... kids don't want to learn so how do you fix that? keeping us in school longer isn't going to do jack shit...

school should be optional. i think people would take it more seriously if they had the choice.

This is the first i've heard of schools having mandatory community service hours,

but let me get this straight ~

Everyone knows that community service is a joke, doesn't really do much good, and is pretty much a waste of everyone's time?

Something which, in the Big Scheme of Things, makes the people participating dislike doing community service?

THEN WHY DID ANYONE BELIEVE THAT O-BOZO HAD ANY TRUE WORK EXPERIENCE?!?

RE: the 3rd part of your post, above:

That's because working mothers are going to need FREE child care,

and what better way to provide that than by calling it "Education" ~

Early Childhood = 6 months and older.

(Hey! You can't have a "Productive Member of Society" missing for a YEAR or FIVE, right?)

And i'd guess that's why the push is on to end home schooling ~

we can't have unique individuals in a uniform society.

haha THIS is why i dont vote. "nothing is gonna change" i said "he isnt the messiah" "he is just another crony of the special interest". but did anyone listen? noooo. you ware all so happy "OBAMA IS THE SAVIOR OF MANKIND WOOOOO!". but honestly you all deserve it. is serves you right for putting any hope/trust (let alone the huge amount of it you gave) into a politician.

but i have to say that anyone that was offended by the special olympics joke, is a smelly post-muenstation pussy that hasnt showered. seriously america grow an epidermis already

Im amazed (even though I know I shouldn't be) at the number of people who are "surprised" by the decisions Obama is making. He never said he would even consider legalizing weed. Furthermore, If everyone would have actually researched who they were voting for from the start, I believe we wouldn't be in this mess. Obama has always been the most liberal voting senator we have. Why are you all so surprised? In case you were just curious before, this is what happens when we elect a liberal president...he'll ruin our country. Oh and as for Mccain, he was as a bigger tool than any of the other candidates running but when it comes down to it, I would still rather have a fiscally conservative president running our country and using our money RESPONSIBLY than this colossal clusterfuck we've got running it now.

whatever, fuckit. I'm just tired of hearing about it. stop acting like you couldn't see this shit coming people.

and another thing Lol fucking NBC anchors talking about how it sends "shivers down my leg when Obama speaks"...what a joke!!! Hold on to your hats people because this is only the start. we haven't even made it a year yet.

Yeah we're all really, really fucked.

I mean as people know, in America it's all about money, and it's the billionaires who run the country, not the president. The president is merely the face for the people to look at. Nothing more. He does what he's told. Presidents like Lincoln and JFK tried to warn about the banks taking full control, and were both assassinated. This country is just continuing on a path to hell.

It's not good. Not good at all.

It's nothing new, everyone does see it, we just ignore it. Even back to the Roman republic, the senate and councils were always the rich. It's not some big conspiracy, it's just the fact the rich have and always will have far greater access because of money. Face it, you as a person don't really matter at the current moment nor does anyone else here probably. A rich investor who keeps billion dollar industries and thousands of jobs; all of which increase tax revenue and economic growth, in the country does matter a bit more. The difference is at least here everyone has a chance to become rich beyond belief.
