I dunno man.... A car is like an extension of a mans castle.... I've gone a long time without a car, and now that I have one I'm VERY touchy about it, I can't stand people even doing shit like slamming my doors, but if they first blocked the road, and then hit my car, I'd be ripped shit.... I go from being a 99%er to a 1% sympathizer REAL quick. Maybe it would have been better to run them over slowly though. And don't forget to reverse.

Cause the guy's driving a nice car isn't an excuse to get on his nuts, either. The 1% isn't driving mercedes, they're having their captain direct their attention to their starboard, where you can just see the whining 99%, ten thousand feet below.

I can just see so many times when I drive because I need to get somewhere, when I would literally just drive off after that..... Say I have low blood sugar, and need to get off the road somewhere I can get something sweet... It's happened, and if someone occupied in front of me just because they COULD slow me down, I would NOT take kindly to it, I could die. Just for example.

There's a difference between stopping banks and shit from doing their shit, and a guy in his car in an intersection. And I think the guy could very well have been justified for being impatient, and was justified for being unnerved and pissed when people started banging on his car. Again, HIS car.

 

Well, apparently it is justifiable to hit someone with your car since he got away with it. I wouldn't have thought it was that easy. And he did reverse; that's when he backed over the second person.

 

So yeah.... Why where they mobbing the guys car? To feel cool and in power because they could stop someone with somewhere to go? Why was there someone that close behind him, and somebody else beating on his hood? Who would feel comfortable, surrounded by a mob beating on your car? I'm all for assembling, and all for protesting, but not all for fucking with individual citizens, it sounds like some sort of vigilante shit, because he had a nice car.....

 

I've often said if someone was messing with me, making me afraid that I was being car-jacked or kidnapped I'd speed away even if I had to hit them. It just doesn't look like that was the case in this incident.

The Oakland PD sure loves almost killing veterans, first Scott Olsen now this. Notice how the link is to the British paper The Guardian, once again our glorious media despite having numerous 24/7 channels can’t pick up on a story. If you think veterans, after surviving wars meant to bring basic freedoms to other peoples in the world, should not have to face near being killed by police in the United States of America, and that Americans shouldn’t have to hear their own citizens screaming in terror from police action, spread this fucking now.

 

id have to agree with ya on this.my truck may be 20 years old,rotted and faded paint.but you slam my doors im gonna put you through the door without opening it.bang on my hood and im gonna beat you into the ground.being run over wouldve been the least of thier worries.

 

I will clarify and say that I would react in this manner only in defense of physical harm to my person such as my windows being broken or a gun being brandished.

How would you react if you're family was downtown for a sporting event or concert and someone mowed them down because the light turned green when they were in the street?

 

I wonder if people have watched the video of the incident. The car was not mobbed or attacked without provocation. People were crossing the street and the car was driving towards them as if to hit them. That is what angered the pedestrian who was in front of the car. After the car accelerated and hit the man, a crowd of people ran to see. The second person who was hit and backed over was in that crowd.

 

As a man of 65 years I remember growing up in a relatively free country (if you were white). I don't recognize this place anymore. I've always had a fear and mistrust of cops but now they are very plainly enemies of the people. They have always been the thugs for the rich but they seem to have morphed into even more vicious bastards than in the past. ..blind,unthinking, uncaring puppets. It amazes me that these fools don't realize they will have to live amongst us when this settles. Perhaps they think they'll have impunity.

I think its time to start looking for a place to live. As america comes apart its death throes are going to be violent and vicious.
