I posted the links from Fox, only because they were the easiest to access, but every Boston news channel is beating the shit outta these people.

I know the Fox National News is pretty much saying the protestors are Satan and will eat your souls if you go near him.

Poor conservatives, they will never know the truth behind their ugly blinders...

Jon Stewart did a bit on the protests and the media coverage... started it off by saying that the media has went from "Blackout" to "Circus"...

    Just wait....

The MSM will soon coordinate a disinformation campaign (which has already begun) about these protests. They're not completely coordinated yet. Then you will hear exactly the same sound bites wherever you go on TV, radio etc.

Then it will be time for revolution because we will have been sold out...

    Thank god for indymedia!

Liberals and conservatives both.... except most Republicans aren't really conservative since they support the same big tyrannical government the left does (though they think they don't because they believe in Democracy and that they can pick someone who represents their best interests, which is a joke).

It will get ugly if it doesn't fade out.

There really isn't an option about that. TPTB will not lay down and accept this, they will throw everything they have at it. The longer it goes on, the worse they will get.

People need to remember that them wanting this to be a peaceful protest, will be irrelevent when it is decided to end this.

It needs to be kept peaceful as long as possible to gain the momentum it will need to carry it through.

This is an article about the attempt to get the protesters out of the park Friday morning for "cleaning".

    http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap...X_WQKw?docId=89784185d5cd402999effc311dc3eb53

The plan of the occupiers is to move about in the park to allow the cleaning without actually ever leaving. It's been announced that the park cleaning will be done in thirds. If the occupiers are not allowed to put their things back after the first third is cleaned, they say they will engage in civil disobedience and not move for the cleaning of the rest of the park.

The unfolding of these events should prove interesting.

The bottom line on all the protests: At this point, there is probably nothing anyone can do anytime soon to get us out of this situation where the bottom 99% of the population exists only to serve the top 1%. But we don't have to act like we like it.

This expression of frustration is the big issue of the moment. We might be a long way from getting anything significant changed, but the powers that be are about ready to demand that we all go back to acting as if we like our current status and don't expect it to change. It is inconvenient to them to be reminded that there are other points of view.

As it often has in the past, Wall Street has lost touch with reality. Any efforts the power players make to stop this movement will bite them in the ass, in a major way. All we have to do is hang around and wait for them to make mistakes. And they will.

Word is that Mayor Bloomberg "folded".

There were 2000 protesters this morning. The sanitation company did not come and the occupiers were not evicted from the park.

I just heard a recorded statement from Bloomberg in which he said the sanitation company received calls from many elected officials and that is the reason they did not go to the Liberty Park this morning.

Edit: I should have said the calls went to Brookfield, the park owner.

There were 3,000 people ready to defend the turf at the OWS site. That's why it was cancelled. Also they had spent all night CLEANING the area, which was the pretense under which they were going to remove everyone, to clean up!

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/gallery/2011/oct/14/occupy-wall-street-zuccotti-park

That they can mobilize 3,000 people to show up on the streets at 6am is AMAZING!

That has to put some fear into the NYPD, Bloomberg, Homeland Security (the SS), etc.

Once they can mobilize TEN TIMES that, 30,000 or more, on the spur of the moment with less than 24hrs notice, there will be NO STOPPING this movement.

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY! GET OUT THERE AND PROTEST! THERE WILL BE HUNDREDS OF PROTESTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD!

anyways im a little concerned over the gettin ugly part.although i am all for it if it comes down to it.but whats to say we wont end up with the government using our own armed forces against us?will the soldiers have enough common sense to realise that they will be killing, hurting thier own people?whats the chances of this ending up like libya with the government bombing our nieghborhoods and destroying our homes and families?

Well.. it will start with the cops becoming violent (they have only been playing so far)... if that knocks the people down, then it will end there...

If it doesn't, but instead encourages more to stand up, the problem will escalate... The government WILL call out the armed forces to back up the cops.

If that doesn't knock them back down, they will suspend civil liberties in order to 'quell' the terrorists, which is what they will then be labelled as...

If those groups 'take over' a town, even be peaceful means, they will use the military to attack...

That's just my opinion though.... maybe the government and ptb will just roll over and accept that they won't be the lords and masters anymore.
