Cops are trying to clear the street, she was on the sidewalk. So, he dragged her into the street by her hair....... Am I missing something here?
Standard procedure. Trip/shove/beat individual into the street, arrest them for being in the street. Ho-Hum. One of the first things they teah you at academy.

I see alot of police running around with video cameras. What purpose does that serve? Just to record their friends beating on peaceful protesters? I don't get it. Peace T.O
So they have evidence to support their arrests for "resisting arrest":2thumbsup: (you know, like flinching or trying to run when they pepper spray you whilst beating you)
That actually does seem to be standard procedure on many levels. Its exactly like how a traffic cop will ride your ass until you speed up then immediately pull you over for speeding. Just on a more extreme level.
Heading down to help out again today. Can't figure out how to use twitter. Where is everyone at? I was there when the cops raided zucatti park. What ever came of that? Peace T.O

Laptops Smashed By Police in Zuccotti Park Eviction Isaac Wilder an active member of the Occupy Wall Street movement, reportedly snapped photos of destroyed laptops confiscated from protesters during NYPD raids Nov. 17, as he was attempting to retrieve his missing possessions from Department of Sanitation building on West 57th Street. http://mashable.com/2011/11/22/police-smash-ows-laptops/
I wouldn't be a bit surprised if before those laptops were smashed, their hard drives were removed and reviewed. After all these occupiers are being treated as criminals, shouldn't their gear be seen as evidence? I hear there was a lot of info on them as some of them were used to coordinate the occupation... I hope they had backups! Oh btw, isn't smashing private property a crime in itself? Isn't that someting they tried to blame on the protesters? But it's just fine if the police do it, since they are immune from any responsibility for their actions.
