scribe - in a lot of cases I'm forced to agree with you. It doesn't mean that a woman running away screaming due to her own insecurity, or because she thinks that she's being treated better than she deserves doesn't happen.

 

Very true, Nothing wrong at all with being a super guy to your girl. Just dont let it define who you are in total as you search fo rthe love of your life.

 

here's a personal observation, purely subjective and likely because i'm a "ball busting bitch from hell." but most of the time a guy describes himself as a "nice guy" or "sensitive" they end up being big old whiners and crybabies. i don't keep women around me like that, either. they're tedious and always complaining about how they finish last and how all women are superficial, money grubbing whores. it's like a latent misogyny that even a "superficial, money grubbing whore" can smell on them.

 

A woman needs a man who can stand on his own two feet with or without her. Now this changes ovre time and th erelationship is very well develpoed. I'm talking years here not weeks or months.

 

yeah, if it's not working, don't just shift the blame outward and think "those stupid women." why don't you figure out yourself first and stop being so patronizing? we know when we're being patronized. we only tolerate if you're hot and / or rich. otherwise you'd better be pretty badass.

If you could stand on your own two feet before you met her you should be able to do that with or with out her. I think I have lost track of this thread. But I am nicer now. I have stopped complaining about the little things she can't do like cook. Now I just tell her how good she does at other things. It's all good.

Very true S.H. But as I stated, that changes over time. After a few years together reliance develops. As for the latter item you statde... Hell thats all you can do. Give praise where it's deseved and make mention of items that bother you. Never a need to harm a relationship just because we dont get everything.

 

I'm a nice dude, and the chicks all dig it. I don't see why more people aren't. Nobody wants to date an asshole, am I right?
