i love pink floyd, capitalistic as they may be. they are also the reason my man is alive. they gave you MUSIC, they don't need to do charity work. they're too good for that shit.
Yeah... I sure am glad they killed that King guy... one less ****** on the streets. (Political murder cannot be justified, and be "right")
I have a shirt with a big picture of a gun on it, and written around it is "Support The Fine Arts - Shoot A Rapper."
Wear a t-shirt saying "all niggers should be raped and murdered". I am sure some people find that offensive.
Mine aren't really all that offensive. I have one that's the scene from Family Guy where Tom Tucker is spanking Diane Simmons on TV that raises eyebrows sometimes, and then I have one from Aqua Teen Hunger Force that has this picture in black and white (it's actually just Ignignokt by himself, not the background), and underneath it says "I hope you can see this, because I'm doing it as hard as I can."
You know, I could just wear a really bad taste shirt. That would offend anyone, and I'm sure I have something in the back of my closet that would offend most people.
Urgh. This makes me want to vomit. A lot of pink floyd's music is pretentious and overrated anyway. If anybody wants me I will be hiding in antarctica.
*HUGS*, thankyou. Also, I don't think any musician is "better" than the masses. Thats pseudo intellectual crap. Some of my favourite artists wanted nothing better than to live in a hidey hole in the top of a barn and drink whiskey all day.
Bah. Young people have no taste in music. If they did, Britney Spears would still be living in a doublewide and have twice as many kids.
First of all, I don't consider U2 even near the same stature as Pink Floyd. Secondly, Bono aligns himself with globalist psychopaths hell bent on killing off the third world populations they pretend to care about. Not that Bono is knowingly part of this, he is just an egomaniacal rock star who loves the spotlight and posing as a humanitarian. He talks about third world debt, yet refuses to address the causes behind it.
I do enjoy some pink floyd songs, that being said, I still love rockapella. pink floyd IS over-rated, but they aren't bad the only music that is pseudointellectual is american baroque classical is where it's at foo's
The only Pink Floyd albums I like are Obscured by Clouds and More. They seem to be more about just making cool tunes on the soundtracks,
Pink Floyd's material from '73 onwards has suffered from FM radio overplay, and therefore you could say that based on their popularity they are overrated. Maybe so, but I can guarantee you that at least half of the people saying this have never heard anything from Pink Floyd aside from what is often heard on the radio.
I can't do pink floyd albums, NORMALLY I am a very album person, it's not worth listening to if you can;t play the whole album (can't tell you how many times I've listened to "broadsword and the beast") pink floyd is individual songs, out of context, as they blow a big one regarding album composition imo
