I disagree with pre season not meaning anything. The result, sure, means nothing but you get an injury or discover a break out guy then that game, pre season or play means a lot and that's why I like pre season so much, just seeing young guys and guys trying to make plays.

 

If the New England Patriots defense is as stout as expected this could be a very interesting year.

Pretty much the same defense they had in the super bowl when they shutdown the Rams except they added Michael Bennett to the defensive line.

The preseason just feeds into the BS around football. You need 4 weeks of planning to decide roster slots that for the most part are known prior to training camp?

Reminds me of my own playing days. WAY too much film and analysis. No one even goes to these games even in Denver. The whole thing should be one game and the NFL season itself longer. You play once a week for an average of 7 minutes in the 60 min game. You are not working that hard.

 

9-3 at half time. Good to see Drew Lock a bit more confident. Not sold he'll get anywhere but, seemed sharper just now.

 

They're missing Trey Flowers though.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up being better this year.
