First, If no sign was to be given as you say, why did Jesus give his disciples signs?

And I answered, I chose because the Bible is the Word of God.

Well maybe for you but as for me....
(Acts 11:26) and, after he found him, he brought him to Antioch. It thus came about that for a whole year they gathered together with them in the congregation and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

I personally consider myself to be a disciple and thus can be called a Christian.

You talk a good game, saying you love God but at the same time spread beliefs that dishonor him.

    I know you have.

What words, the words of men? Practicing what teachings? As has been said Jesus wrote nothing down, other men wrote it down, so you have no teachings of Jesus, only the words of men.

You can't have it both ways, either the Bible is the Word of God or the word of man.

Forthcoming? All you have to do is look it up but instead you waste everyone's time by not doing your homework. I answer your question and you won't even take the time to look up what your own question was, please.

Something I find amazing is that Jesus described specific forms of worship and they are violated in virtually every church. Matt.6:5&6 "When you pray you must not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at street corners that they may be seen by men. truly I say to you they have their reward, but when you pray go into your room and shut the door and pray to your father who is in secret; and your father who sees you in secret will reward you."

What happens instead is we make sure to put on our sunday best and
we have edifices built to house miles of liturgical ritual to keep people in an ignorant state. We teach the precepts of men as doctrine. What do we say, well these precepts are inspired? There is no precedent for these things, no "order of worship". "To him who has much more will be given, to him who has little, even that will be taken away. And, the first shall become last and the last first."

But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him."

When he comes he rewards us in secret, It is as a flash of brilliance in the mind as you behold what god has created. The hour of his coming no one knows because it is not dependent on time but on invitation. The mind that was in Christ Jesus belongs to him. The timing of the invitation is different for every man, as in some of you will not taste death before you see the son of man coming in all his glory.

You just don't seem to get it. Some people who do not judge are being judged and they feel judged because they are being judged.

(Luke 22:69-71) 69 However, from now on the Son of man will be sitting at the powerful right hand of God.” 70 At this they all said: “Are you, therefore, the Son of God?” He said to them: “YOU yourselves are saying that I am.” 71 They said: “Why do we need further witness? For we ourselves have heard [it] out of his own mouth.”

    You suppose Jesus felt judged?

So you think that means that Christians shouldn't apologize either?

You misquote the scripture waterbrother, the line is let those with ears to hear, let them hear. Not those with ears should listen.

"Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with one another." As I have said. Do you still have a different interpretation? Do you still think it may be talking of preservative?

The bible didn't call you a disciple therefore it is "unscriptural," you just made it up.

I spread beliefs? I dishonor god? Where do you come up with this stuff. If I talk a good game then know that out of the abundance of the heart a man speaks.

The bible contains the record of Jesus' words, Jesus was a man. The word of god is a living word. The practical instructions given through him a living word were recorded. I have what the holy spirit has shown me. It is not up for you to decide what I can and cannot have.

Well maybe not instructions, but he does say when he is speaking plainly and when he is not. :blush5:

He also describes what he means in detail many times.

No, I do not. Jesus knew that his father loved him. The will that is in us is the same will that god created. Your will is inviolate just as is gods. People do not feel judged because they are being judged, They feel judged because they judge.
