There's nothing to restore it looks mint, only thing wrong with it is the stereo

its not fucking it up, if you go back a page or two you'd see this stuff peels off its for fun.... make it look a little interesting, you can always restore it back to its original self...

Ortus, try that plasti-dip-peel paint or whatever if you simply must change (mess up) a perfectly good car.

Changing the stereo will most probably be harder than you're talking about but I can understand you getting all worked up about it. FGS, surely you know inside the sound system should be the only thing you change about that prize of a car you've lucked across.

 

blowing snow is crazy here this morning. you'll be driving along fine, and then a gust of wind comes and you can't see anything for 30 seconds. combine that with the fact that it is still mostly dark outside, and i think there will be quite a few accidents today.

we were driving along a main road, and some moron waiting for the bus is standing out in the road in the middle of the lane, like 30 feet in front of me. i didn't see him until the wind died down, and i don't think he saw me until then either. headlights don't shine through blowing snow very well....

on the topic of headlights, mine seem to be really weak lately. i've been reading online and apparently over the years they get worn down by salt and sand and debris from the road, but can be restored a little bit by polishing them with toothpaste. i just need to wait for a day where it isn't freezing cold so that i can give it a try. or maybe i'll wait until i visit my parents next so i can do it in their garage.

 

First time in three years that I did not take Grace to the park. We just walked around the neighborhood. Very cold and windy out there.

 

brrrr. its supposed to get to a whopping 37* here today. kid goes back to school tomorrow. we need groceries. i might make some bread or cinnamon rolls. all out of eggs though, ill have to find a new recipe.

every time it gets cold i get more frustrated that i dont have my windows done the way i want, so that i can hang blankets easily for extra warmth. and i really want a woodstove.

i just remembered i have to do laundry today too. bummer.

wet sand with 2000 grit then 3000 grit...left to right dont do circles

then use some plastic polish..you can buy it cheaper at atv places ..the more patience you have the better it turns out

there was a huge snow drift in my parking lot this morning, I had to gun it and run at it to get through. it was actually pretty fun. the drifting snow here is crazy.
