The city refused to do anything because that would be them opening a whole new can of worms like telling the gay people they can't have a parade here. We don't usually do stuff like that in our city so this christian thing is treated the same. They take advantage of that and are there all the time. They aren't putting out good vibes to the rest of the public tho.

Here in Britain, I think Gays probably get more protection from the law than Christians.
We had a case where a Christian couple who kept an hotel refused to give a room to a gay couple, and the law found against them. There have also been cases where a judge has ruled that someone can't wear a cross at work.
Secularism rules here really, despite the state church etc.
