Made a quick visit to McCoy Stadium on Saturday. McCoy is the home of the Pawtucket (RI) Red Sox, the AAA-International League affiliate of the dreaded Boston Red Sox. As a Yankees fan, I was at this split doubleheader to see the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees. I actually like this park, depsite it being kinda old (opened in the 1930s and renovated at the end of the 1990s). 1-The East side of McCoy from South Bend Street. 2-Ted Williams with the team owner, who is still running them today. 3-The Big Blue Blug is a Providence landmark (near exit 19 of I-95). 4-My view for the first of the two games. 5-What this scoreboard doesn't show is the fact that S/W-B was ONE OUT away from throwing a combined no-hitter. Son of a bitch!
oh psh, your eyes are gorgeouse man! people may not say anything bout them in public but they sure get noticed, i can tell you that!!!
My goodness! What happened to my thread? I had completely forgotten about it! Anyways, here's a new picture of me...
OK...how about now? 1- OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME...Hard to believe that this was home to a AAA-level baseball team from 1984 to 1988. 2- OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME...The former press box was hit by arson a few years ago. Sad, huh? 3- OLD ORCHARD BEACH, ME...Me and the twin acting like dicks outside of our old high school. I'm on the right here. 4- HAMPTON, NH...We stopped here to whiz and get a couple of scratch tickets! Honest!
Here are a few more. Yippee! 5- PORTLAND, ME...Slugger statue outside of Hadlock Field, home of the AA-Eastern League Boston Red Sox. 6- PORTLAND, ME...The Portland Expo Building, next door to Hadlock Field. 7- PORTLAND, ME...Slugger getting a ride around the edge of the field. 8- PORTLAND, ME...My twin screwing around with a statue outside of Hadlock Field.
