It's one thing to not empathize with someone, but another to seem to get off on making fun of them and patronizing them.
This is just my opinion though. I am sorry I made a judgement on your country. That was really closed-minded of me. I just know everything that's happened must have affected you and the rest of the citizens. You guys lived through a lot and I know it caused fear in a lot of people. I know I went through a period where I was like 'fuck this no one's had it as bad as me, i get up and get on with everything thus they have no right to feel pain'. It's tough when you realize that's not the case and that by minimizing other's pain you are taking theri right to feel away from them.
