man, they just dont make kids shows like they used to...have you seen some of the shit they play now?? they all have to have some kind of theme that "teaches" kids. most of them are complete crap, other than sponge bob of course.

also whatever happened to the good old loony tunes

What was that show with the puppets, there was a sorcerer girl and a big green dragon. It looked alot like Sesame Street in a castle, for younger kids but I used to watch that too. I loved Legends of the Hidden Temple! There was also that show with the action figures, I think it was called Kaboom or something.

PS - Didn't "The Rick" host GUTS?

Dude, David the Gnome was awesome! I used to love that show, holy crap. Oh, and just for the record, I am a Sponge Bob hater. That show makes the Weather Channel look entertaining...

OMG! u guys really brought back some old memories....we really had some good shows when we were kids! I really feel bad for the kids now, they really have missed out.

Pete & Pete was amazing: I remember the epsiode where older Pete had to dress up as the bear in the gulf cart and younger Pete was trying to expose him!

The Wonder years...totally classic: who couldn't forget winnie & kevins love. And kevins hippie sis who only appeared in a few epsiodes here and there, gotta love her too!

Wild 'n' Crazy Kids: My whole being was consumed with envy when i watched that show when I was all of 7 yrs. old. I wanted to do human bowling, push watermelons through the water with my head, and slip 'n' slide right down into a big pile of whip cream! It still aches me that I was never on the show.

Clarissa Explains it All: All I ever wanted was to steal Clarissa's clothes and have a friend who climbed up a ladder to get to my window. Dawsons Creek totally stole the ladder thing from that show. Also my High School Drama teacher appeared on an episode of this show. More reason to like it!

Are U Afraid of the Dark?: The sacriest episode ever was when the vampire came out of the movie screen and chased the kids around! I had nightmares for weeks after that one!

DOUG: hmmm....I still love to watch the episode where Doug and Patti go on their first date. It was so awkward but cute. His parents and sis. Judy tried to help him with what to wear. Then the whole holding hands thing was such a scary thing for both of them. OR how about the episode where Doug got a big zit onhis face and he didn't want to go to the big party. But then he dressed as the Phantom of the Opera with the mask....

I guess thats enough reminissing for now... Maybe l8er I'll continue on....

I totally agree. Are You Afraid Of The Dark, the show that I remember the best was the one with the dead dude in the pool that killed that little boy. I was sacred to go swimming for like 4 months. And the one about the boy with the red bike. Man I love this!!! I want to just go sit and watch hours of it!!!!!

Haha, Eureka's Castle! I used to have puppets of characters from that show! That was good stuff, I gotta say.

Also, I totally loved David the Gnome when I was in preschool! I think that was my favorite show then. I remember dancing around when it came on... :&

Also, I always hated Guts, but I always wanted one of those stupid glowing rocks that you got if you climbed to the top of the rock wall or whatever that was. The glowing rock always seemed so sweet!

And I think that I have seen every episode of Doug. They used to play that show constantly. Does anyone remember Doug's favorite band, The Beets? They were supposed to be a take off of The Beatles. They were British and everything.

Maybe you guys can help me out with this one... I remember a show way back when I was a little lad that had this bearded man who lived in a really green forest or something, and I think he had some sort of special box of treasures and animal friends and whatnot. This was not a cartoon show, and now that I think about it, the host was probably gay. He makes me think of that one gay decoator... with a beard. Anyway, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Oh man, Nick used to be the shit! ;)

Ya can't forget the mayor and the dog. Although 'OUCHIES' was probably the funniest line in it. I thought it was always really funny to see the action figures hit a fan or a blender or something. :p

I noticed a lot of shows that are mention of one's in the last ten years. Does anyone else here remember when Nickelodeon was first introduced and Pinwheel was the only show on it?
I'm an such the eighties child though.
    I miss Fraggle Rock.
    and the Smurfs
And the Orignal Rainbow Brite, Transformers and He-Man.
    ThunderCats
    Jem and the Holograms
    She-Ra
Looney Tunes before they censored them.
