My Grandfather's name was Cornelius-now that's a really old name. They called him "Pete" for short. I mean, what are they gonna call him as a nickname-Corny?

And my mother's name is Dorothy-not too many girls get that name any more.

I had an uncle named Bellamah Bellamah Bellamah. They called him "Uncle BB". I think that's just a little too much....

My other Grandfather's name was Ayoup Sliman (Jacob Solomon)-first and middle name-no,we're not Jewish-Lebanese Maronite Christian, actually. And the other grandmother was named Julia-all pretty old-fashioned names.

And mine is Michael (everybody calls me Mike except my parents). It's the kind of name that never seems to go out of style. And it's what I named my son, because my ex wanted it that way. I like the name, actually. It's Hebrew for "who is like God?" Well, certainly not me, but it's a nice thought anyway...
