Old Souls & Past Lifes

To be completely fair, I never said she was stupid. I said that I thought she was stupid, and that believing in past lives was indeed "fucking stupid".

I know my slander laws tho, and nothing was directly said about her.

 

Everybody always claims they we're Joan of Arc or Napoleon's gardner in a past life.

Past lives are significantly less likely then bigfoot. We know what happens to the brain when someone dies, but we don't video tape every part of the Northwest.

But for some reason I'm crazy for saying that bigfoot took pictures of me naked and sold them on Ebay.

But 'past lives' are totally cool. Fascism!

I mean, I am not saying you should be banned (someone with as many posts as you and only fucked up the rules once shouldn't be banned on first offence!) but just saying, I don't know how you did NOT slander her.

I think if someone wants to voice their opinion in reguards to what someone else said ... it should be their right to do that. If it's calling them stupid ... then fine with me.

So I think someone should have the right to do as they wish so long as not harming anyone else? ... yes.

anywho... I don't think that identifying with a segment of society necessarily equates with having a past life. Preferences are, well, preferences. Because I like the colour red, does that mean I found a new red dye in a past life? Doubtful

I agree, things around here do seem childish and I will take the responsibility for my part of it too. Maybe I am being an asshole about the rules or whatnot, however I don't think spooner should be banned, and I am trying to stand up for the poor 13 year old girl who comes here to share a simple idea and get slammed for it! I think that is bull shit, and totally fascist that she expresses a simple thought and people take it and run with it callin her stupid and stuff, ESPECIALLY when she is 13 years old! If anything, we should encourage her search for truth and all that rather than shoot down her ideas! If it contradicts with your ideas, so what? It isn't hurting anybody if she thinks that way!

So if standing up for the underdog is childish, then I guess I am. Maybe it comes from watching the Underdog cartoons as a kid. But whatever the reason, I think it is bullshit that people would treat an open minded 13 year old like that who was expressing a thought! Especially one so harmless! She has put out so many good vibes to you all, but has obviously been DEEPLY emotionally hurt! She came here looking for open minded, like minded people but what she found were a group quick to condemn her beleifs! She might as well have went to the republicans convention! I really think all parties involved in doing that to her should be ashamed. Who knows what you did to her faith in her fellow man!

Like I said, I'm not choosing sides, because then I would be part of the problem. I agree that the girl has a right not to be shot down. It's a shame it happened. I'm just saying I don't think people should even be considered to be banned by anything they said on this thread. Nobody made any threats, nobody directly used foul language ... it is a PUBLIC FORUM ... it just so happens that the majority of the public is a bunch of rude, arrogent, jerks. That's my 2 cents.

 

Thank you! I agree! I think there are certain instances where someone SHOULD be banned, however, but I think there is more grey area than black and white regarding that. Someone who constantly insults people and such, should be banned, in my opinion. However, spooner generally doesn't cause too much of a ruckus, so I woulnd't say he should be banned, just that he should be more careful about what he says.

 

Brad is awesome in my honest opinion. Hes a sarcastic bastard that makes me want to strangle him until he turns green and his head falls off. That makes him a good man. Brad if your reading this ... keep up the good work.

I just want to say that I read a few of your posts and your spirit really shines through. Your a good hearted kid and you spread alot of joy wherever you go ... I remember you told a story about handing a kid a flower through a car window and just saying "peace". That was almost the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. The world really needs more poeple like you around.

You are also an awesome person. I enjoy reading your posts and you deffinately have a non-offensive attitude about you and it is always nice to meet someone who isn't trying to start shit. Not saying there are people around here that do, but you seem to try to keep a pretty unbiased and open minded view on stuff whereas other people wouldn't.
