It's patched up... I've got to get some other stuff done this month and I'm gonna have the shop look at that stuff, get me part numbers for the wire ends, so I can fix it right... It runs.

Omg yes! Well, maybe not if I was in control though, but ohh shit! I had a bad experience with, well I don't know if you are familiar with Tilt a whirl ride. Well, it wasn't that, but it was similar. Actually it was a car like thing. A nyhoo, the piece of shit operating the thing was spinning our car for the whole time, and I kid you not, it was like 10 minutes of that shit. (Ok ok maybe it felt like ten minutes. But it wasn't just me. )

A nyhoo, I make sure I'm on the wheel anytime I go on those things. And I still won't do it often. Doesn't your inner ear/tolerance for this stuff start to fade after 30?? Lol

I was on the original model...they had one in Toronto...I think its still there

The Rotor is an amusement park ride, designed by German engineer Ernst Hoffmeister in the late 1940s. The ride was first demonstrated at Oktoberfest 1949,[citation needed] and was exhibited at fairs and events throughout Europe during the 1950s and 1960s. The ride still appears in numerous amusement parks, although travelling variants have been surpassed by the Gravitron.

I don't like the ferris wheel. You're up high for too long.

I don't like going up high and I damn sure don't like falling.

Oh wow! So the Hammer is a bit of a variation on the one I know. This one did not rotate, it just went up and around. I liked it when I was younger younger (lol) but the last time I did it, college I guess (or, eh hem university days :)), well the cage door swung open mid ride...or wait, did I chicken out then?? Ah yes. I thi k I did. And then after many years later (well, last year) had the opportunity again, but I hesitated. Yeah, shit, you get yourself all pumped for it and then, I dunno, they shut off the ride or something.

Now then, that second one, Aeri, oh man! Total favorite! And haha, oh man I cry tears of laughter whenever I tell this (I'm so evil), well, I had the rare opportunity to operate this once and. Lol I made some poor kid throw up. Oh man! I was so glad I could leave and not have to clean it up, but shit! Lol Now come on. I joke that I'm evil because I didn't really do anything crazy and if I think too much, I just feel bad. But so now i just go around laughing how I made someone throw up on that ride...so you better not mess with me. Hahaha (insert laughter emojji)

Oh man, but yes! I have loved that ride since first discovering it. :) the "beds" one. I've never seen that first one.

    ^^
Well, that made my night! :D

When I was a teenager, Mom and Dad had a condo at Ponce Inlet, Florida.

Back inland, about a 45 minute ride, was a new amusement park just build beside the expressway but other wise in the middle of no where.

Mom would drive me and my brother, plus a couple of friends, over to the park in the morning and come back to get us at closing.

    That park was so empty.

The kids that worked there would let us ride anything for as long as we wanted to.

Yes, I came to love that ride at the Boardwalk at Daytona Beach, FL. It was called The Bullet there.

The old school Gravitron was called the Spindle Top at Six Flags over Georgia, I think.

I used to love carnival rides. The gravitron and the bobsleds (just little swingy cars that went really fast in a circle and up and down a slope) were my favorites.

I dont really trust them anymore though, I haven't ridden an amusement park ride in years

Did you guys hear what happened a week or two ago somewhere in..Ohio, I want to say, but I could be wrong. It was one of those rides with the mechanical arms and cars are attached, and the arms spin the cars around and then the cars also spin.

Well one of the cars came off its arm, two people died and several were injured

Every time I've ever been on a ride like that I've pictured that exact same scenario happening. How terrifying

    why wouldnt you trust them?

they are taken apart and put together by meth addicts who know what theyre doing and are 100% concerned with your familys safety

Same with catching a plane tho like I fly a bit and it is always on the back of my mind and Murphy Law is my life in ways so makes me think.. why wouldn't it happen to me?

I go on the roller coasters at Oktoberfest. I don't like heights but I do at the same time, or it becomes a point where fuck it if it don't stop I'm done for, may as well enjoy it and hope it doesn't hurt.

I remember when mum took me one those free fall drops. We were so scared we would only laugh. And then we did it again and again. Not dad though he just watched.

I love water slides. It takes me two shots to figure out the inmaccurate rifle ranges. I throw a mean dart at balloons. =p and those clowns that move side to side i strangle those stupid clowns to one side so the ping pong ball always gets maximim lol.

I love smashing the pathetic young couples in bumber cars like they there for a romantic fun time BULLSHIT, I see that shit, you're getting whiplash! :D

We were devo when all the parks were closed in America. Salvation at gun ranges instead lol.
