Hey I'm in Fort Worth, North Texas. If you guys need a shower, we have two bathrooms at home, hot water might run out but...hey they'll be clean. I really admire what you are doing, I read your posts everytime you update. It sounds like a dream come true.

Yeah, this whole thread kicks ass. For all of us losers who can't actually live the dream at the present moment. Come next summer or hopefully even sooner I'll track you guys down and give it a whirl.

well sometimes its not all that fun,
well ok yeah it is, but sometimes you find yourself sitting at a computer library, stinking so bad that your afraid to make eye contact with anyone in the room.....

but other than that its freakin great!!!!

well we made it down that long ass winding road threw the gila national forest and finally to the cliff dwellings, then had to pay an entrance fee...we paid it but gave the guy a real dirty look....'

it was cool, kinda a let down though...

were in truth or consequences, waiting till 1 pm for jake to get back to the riverbend hotsprings hostel, were seeing if we can do a work trade, we did a few years ago, ...
    hopingt o repeat!!!

I need a soak, I mean I stink, I washed in the river but I need some hot water some soap and some time.

elpaso next, we may even hit the road today, were waiting to see what happens with the work trade thing.
its raining which means hemp sales seace and decist......
rain in the desert...whats with that?

    peace

thanks mama goose, though I really dont think were heading that far north, probally down to galveston then the 10 accross...probally!!!

    hippy hillbilly,
aww shucks man always lovin your encouraging words,
were heading to the keys, doing a loop or something like that, we always say were gonna stick somewhere then end up going somewhere else,
if its bad, which we have all heard it was in the winter for travelling folk, then its bad...were damn good at what we do, not that other kids arnt or anything like that, but we dont let a little struggle stand in our way

weve hit two hurrican after showers , BCS largest forest fire when they were enlisting drivers and taking them to fight the fires, hail snow blizarrds...ok the selling hemp in minus 60 in the canadian praries was bad idea...still though we made it threw...well almost tye lost his toe.....

what I would like to know is whats new orleans like now, Ive heard some horror stories about its danger after katrina, Is it still that bad or has it gotten livable?
its a splitt vote about stopping at all there, I know pre flood it was hard as hell to make it out, so post flood has top be damn hard...
I figure if we do go, well we'll go in with enough to get out which is what we try to do for even the tamest of cities such as austin...cant make money in the city...or at least not really enough to get a bus by.

had some problems in el paso, we were turning at 4th and el paso right by the pedestrian walk to juarez mexico and the damn drive line broke, so we pushed it around the corner and immediatley started dissasembling the line, this was on halloween, we taxied over to the other side of town to a shop the re built the things, after 120 dollars in cab rides and 93 dollars in parts....we booked out of the city......
well not before hitting up hooters on the east side of town, three more days threw the desert and now were in kerrville, heading up austin in an hour or so,
were bolting a hamok to the cieling of the bus then hitting the road again....

oh yeah hillbilly, we stopped in at days place which is about 2 miles threw washed out roads with steep ass inclines and high drops and deep gulleys, I remember you said your road was impassable in a bus .....
    impassable or impossible?
were probally head up into georgia after florida that where you are right?

    peace
