I think we're going to sell the toyota yaris. it has been sitting for a couple of weeks and I don't feel like bothering to put the winter tires on it.

it is a shame though, because it has 200,000 km on it and i've had no real problems with it. runs a bit loud, maybe an exhaust leak or something, but it is a solid car. it is all paid off, but I don't want to pay the insurance and maintenance anymore.

toyotas are weird people will pay a lot for them very easy to resell usually especially the small ones

seen lots go for twice what i thought they were worth and people (usually businesses) will drive all the way from toronto for them

maybe i'll just list it for a lot higher than I think I can get and then only sell if there is a good offer.

 

Yeah a running Toyota is always worth at least a few thousand. Even with high miles or dents or any of that.

hondas too. My son had a honda that sat in the upper driveway. (It was in the curve and you could get around it.) Seems like it threw a rod or something. Anyway, the boy got another car...but that one was up there. You would not believe the MANY times people came up and wanted to buy that car, and it wouldn't even crank. LOL

He eventually wound up selling it. after it sat there for 2 or 3 yrs and we were wanting it moved, too. The dude wouldn't give him what he wanted and he went out there and removed something...I forget what.

It had to do with what he wanted the extra money for. anyway..

Since it wasn't a large car, I know he sold it for a lot more than he would have gotten at a crusher.

I like Jungstürm. they're one of my more favorite nationalistic bands and they're not over the top hatred either, they sing some really beautiful melodic stuff and the vocalist, well he sounds exactly like he should... agrressive and angry German. I can't even understand him a lot.

 

i scrapped so many rear wheel drive carolla and celica....those things are like gold now i wish id kept them ...people have gone crazy with this "drifting" hobby
