One for the ladies: Beards vs. Clean Shaven

women dont ponder...men tell them how to think and what to think, whilst they forfill their vital functions of sexual intercourse, cooking, cleaning, and helping us men folk whilst drunk.....

 

How much do you need a slap right now?

 

I love beards, in fact, truth be told, I definatly notice guys with beards before clean shaven ones. I don't judge based on it, but we must all agree that there is an initial look/reaction, and brothers with beards get mine.

They told us in intro psych that women base what they find attractive on their relationship with their father/primary male caregiver. So... a woman had a great relationship with her dad and he had a beard, she'll be more attracted to men with beards. If she had a bad relationship with her dad and he had a beard, she'll be more attracted to guys without beards. Personally I think that's true... I have an awesome relationship with my dad, and he's usually clean-shaven, and guys with beards usually don't do it for me. A little 5 o'clock shadow is sexy, but I hate it when it's scratchy.

 

I don't know about that, I have a great relationship with my dad, but he's for the most part clean shaven. He'll grow a tiny beard now and then, but never much, and I love men with beards.

of course, when I was younger he used to grow a little beard whenever he went camping or wasn't working, and when is was growing is he would rub the soft part of his cheek against mine and say "soft" and the the ruff scratchy part against my cheek and say "ruff", in silly voices, I thought it was the funniest thing ever. So I dunno, maybe that has something to do with it.

 

each has advantages and disadvantages. at the moment... i don't have either. i'm not clean-shaven, i don't have a beard. i have more... overgrown stubble

 

i have a strange beard, it almost looks like a giant pair of side burns.

i want side burns.

 

It really depends on the man but I think clean shaven is sexy.

I have a beard ... everyone keeps telling me to shave it off coz it apparently looks like pubes on my chin! I don't care ... it means I can actually get served for booze coz I look about 17! lol

not so much into the moustaches...i do enjoy a nice goatee tho at times

 

I desperately want a big full on massive bushy beard but my body isn't ready yet. Bastard body.

Yes it does. Its certainly better than mine. And if i can still contact the forums in a couple of years i will gladly say it again.
