If it had been on any of the like 5 channels I get on an antenna I may have watched some... But I don't particularly care for TV.
you can still watch it...and pick and choose what ya wanna watch for yourself http://music.channel.aol.com/live_8..._philly_toronto green day doin we are the champions rocked..
I think it was was over publicized, also I think it should have been for a bit better of a cause than what it was. Don't get me wrong, what they did it for was a great idea, but in my opinion, there are way more important priorities out there.
it was a bad cause because most of the money that was raised for the African government(s) will fall into the hands of some dictator and never make its way to the people who need it
You people are missing my point! it wasnt about fucking t.v. sets or channels or what shithouse bands played at the damn thing, the point i was trying to make was that millions of stupid americans tune into the most pathetic t.v. shows, but something that opens their eyes to the rest of the world, hardly anyone tunes in. and yes i do care why should you make it sound pathetic that i am the one who cares and you people dont even get the whole point its not even about the t.v. or the bands people, though i guess you wouldnt know seeing how most of you all dont bother to care about such issuses.
it was"nt about wanting money from the people this time . it was about letting those 8 heads of world power " see for themselves that the people of the world have spoken out against this inhumane situation that still is going on in 2005. i think alot of people are / or have missed the point.
(quote)then i realized i dont give a flying fuck about poverty ...............heard it all now.................... humanity is really fucked up man.............speechless
watching a concert on tv isnt going to help poverty in any way, shape, or form. if anybody on here seriously gave a damn and really thought they could help the poor people of the world, then i doubt they'd be posting at all. they wouldnt have any time to do so.
speaking out against it is useless. everyone knows that Africa is headed for a huge genocide, and no one is going to do a thing to stop it. what it really was was an excuse for some concerts and a big waste of time anyways, no one really spoke out to begin with. "hey man, lets sit here and smoke weed, and tell the government to cure African poverty! yeah!"
so lets say fuck all ...............and hope it go"s away .........yeah right. (quote) hey man lets sit here and smoke weed and tell the goverment to cure african poverty ..........yeah right. .why not?
this is where my vote is going, because I seriously don't give two fucks about anyone in Africa. Fuck them. I need help in my own country and it isn't here, so until I get what I need here, everyone else can die.
please explaine...........fuck them ? who ?...........nice attitude man ....please wish me a pleasent death.
hes right, people should worry about the problems in their own cities and countries before pretending to give a damn about people that live half way across the world. but unfortunately its no coincidence that so many places in the United States for example remain poor... I would give a reply to this if you were able to form a coherent sentence
