What if carbonated drinks and sodas were regulated in the same way as tobacco products? Would NHS campaigns focusing on disastrous results like obesity and tooth decay have more of an effect than ingredients and nutritional guidelines?​

To your point--I used to work at an ice cream shop and I noticed that many overweight folks would order like a 4 scoop sundae with a ton of extra fudge and some brownies or something, and then they would always order a diet coke.
