Yeah, I've had to deal with customers too. Though my op was about the employees treating customers like shit. And yes, everyone has things they're probably going through. But you kinda just have to keep that separate from work. I don't think there's any excuse at all to threaten to kill someone....

I have done very extensive research on this and I highly recommend you go eat at hooters instead.

    Great, now I want subway...

Why feel bad for them? They shouldn't be rude to any customer regardless, they're getting paid to be there... So they should act like it.

They are there to serve you, that is their job. I order a sandwhich and just list off a bunch of things I want on it, which is usually almost everything lol

I've never had a problem on the subway but I've heard...I about bad shit goin down, kinda like you hear about walk-by shootings on the street and shit all the time here but I've never been the victim. used to be a salesman, and the subway is actually a good place to pitch people you can walk from one car to the next through the emergency door :) Busses are good too but don't have as many people but they are air conditioned too so it beats walking the blocks.

Sometimes trains can get so crowded tho that it's impossible to move around, and if you don't plan for you exit by gradually making your way toward a door well before your planned stop it can be impossible to get off, sometimes it requires that a few other people on the train have to get off too its rediculous,

NYC trains are especially crowded, but the trains here can get just as crowded or more at certain times especially when there's an O's game ....so much that the doors can't even shut!

Never actually witnessed any real violence before...have seen people hitting a crack pipe in a back corner of a train car and even a dude whipped out his cock and started pissing on the floor but never any real violence beyond harsh words and open talk of who got shot the other day, and contract killlings and other such things discussed in public openly that shouldn't be. Know other people who have witnessed stabbings and such tho, but usually those stories happened many years ago.

yeah, riding MTA you hear some crazy shit for real....I've never felt in danger tho...they always play this message about keeping your smart phones and tablets close to you and out of site on public transit....it even makes more sense when they play messages like that and then try to give actual information at the same time....it's just like...so much more information

I always thought that was really annoying. You get a tiny bit of avocado and they don't even do anything to it and that's a dollar extra. I can get an entire avocado for a dollar. Next time I'm bringing my own. lol Honestly though, I don't really like Subway. The deli at Publix makes amazing subs that are healthy (depending on which you choose) and pretty much the same price with less plastic-like meat (I'm aware all deli meat is processed but there's a difference between crap lunch meat and Boar's Head) and bland taste.

And the deli people at the Publix I always used to go to were really nice. My hubby and I wanted to share a foot long (because two halves was a dollar more) but have each side be slightly different, the lady was like "Sure no problem!" And at Subway I also always felt like they wanted to rip my head off if I want anything complicated.
