micro--your reply addresses no point.As I often ask people who think it's OK for people to flood into this country without going thru legal channels"give me a number".1 million--10 million 100 million?How many can we absorb?We had our revolution--it may be time for Mexicans to have a REAL one of their own.It appears to be a rotten place to live,crooked from top to bottom with little or no saftey net for their citizens,rife with drug cartels and violence.I get the impression you protest there,you go to jail or get "disappeared".No wonder they want to come here.The hispanics I've worked with over the years,work their asses off and appreciate what they can do with the money they make when they take or send it south.So again,I don't blame them.But it's certainly to the detriment of our young citizens who would like to have some decent paying jobs.It may come back to bite the politicians and companies in the ass who hire them ,when these workers find out they won't get machine-gunned for employing the tactics that our forebearers used beginning early in the last century to get treated fairly, regarding wages,safty ,and the rest of the battles fought over fairness in the work place.The politicians are obviously not going to get a handle on the borders because they don't seem to care about this country any more,with some exeptions,-it's the bucks now--it's the"new world order"--and they are riding the wave of the sellouts--those who hire citizens from other countries-those who move their companies to other countries,those who run the national debt to the highest levels(in 5 years no less) the ones who use post office boxes in off shore places ,to keep from pay their fair share of taxes,the ones who attempt to do away with anything that helps the working class,that supplies all this money.It really all ties together--they are treating this country as if the end-game is fast approaching--like rats off a sinking ship,and it's time to screw anybody and everything-just keep enough zombies working and(barely) voting so that they (the pols) can keep their fat jobs,health care(universal-for life)pay offs ,kick backs ,perks that I'm sure none of us even know about--and oh--by the way--you're an un patriotic son of a bitch if you question any thing they do.SO--Hispanics coming across the border?The least of our worries.Or maybe not.

I'm a working man.
Some illegal immigrant comes across the border.
My boss sees the guy and offers him my job at $1/hr less than what I'm being paid.

Therefore, I should be mad at ....?? Who?

The Mexican who is willing work?
My Boss who will replace me with anyone who costs him less?

That's probably true--and when the wages get back down to $2.00 an hour,he would be happy to boot your ass out for someone who would work for a buck an hour.Oh --wait --that's already happening--jobs to mexico,indonesia,india,china,ect,ect.The more things change ,the more they remain the same.

Drop the BORDERS. hey let ppl in and make sure they pay taxes. I do not who cares who mows my neighbors lawn or allows me to get labor cheap, i have worked with illegal immagrants and they work a hell of alot harder then most 'americans'. If you look back on our brief history of a nation immagrents have allways gottin a bad rap. Every one hated the Irish, Polish Italians, Jews Asians, and imho the hate subsided with in a few generations. The excpetion to this rule are blacks, america's distrust and hatred as no abated but that is another topic. Look at who mined in this country, who where beat cops who built the railroads, ect ect ect. Drop the borders let ppl in document them, allow them to pay taxes so i can payl ess;> I have seen these types of protests where i live (long island , NY) I am not sure who to feel bad about the immagrents getting the shit kicked out of them or the dumb fucks who do it.
