British food is overrated??
Coldplay I totally agree with. perfect mediocrity.
getting shitfaced every night is great, I wish I still had the money to do that.

 

No. Everybody hates British Food, including the british.

Its completely underrated. Best Fish and Chips in the world. Beautiful roasts, lovely yorkshire puddings, steak and ale pies, nice chocolate biscuits, cakes, wensleydale cheese, nice beer, icecream, fudge, black pudding, haggis....

In fact I think that everything is underrated in your country, except the weather and Coldplay, and the Lake District.

 

British humor is overrated. it really just isn't that funny (usually).

 

fish and chips/ british breakfast is good.
But other than that traditional British food is so bad , we pretend Indian is British..!

Constantlly sHitfaced feels good while u still wanna do it.But it gets a bit empty type of thing.
And u can lose the following day cos of it.Or get fat.Or find all your friends became wasters.
FOrtunately I stopped before that..

 

British food has a lot going for it, but I don't see how it could be considered overrated.
Spanish food I don't usually like.

 

Depends , references to British things can go over foreigners heads.
Robin Williams tries to be all English and makes me mad.
People like Rowan Atlinson , Stephen Fry and "classic comedians"are very overrated.

But lots of British stuff is brilliant IMO

 

Peep Show is one of the funniest TV shows I have seen in a long time. I also liked Gavin and Stacey too.

You might like peep show Zen, its different.

British I think of roast beef , or pie and mashie unspicy , plain taste.
Our top restaurants and chefs are pretty good.But to me , thats all foreign ingredients/ fusion stuff

Literally , I eat hardly any British food - even for breakfast...!

I heard McDonalds flourished cos early "prairie " American food was very dull in comparison.

I think I inherited a genetic taste for food- all pickles , spices etc , rather than plain English.

I guess it has come down to that. No longer does it have anything to do with record labels.

This could explain why I would rather shove a needle in my eye than watch british humor.

 

you know what's overrated? duct tape. contrary to popular belief, it is NOT a repair all. at least not in the disgustingly hot and humid weather of central texas.

 

I like being Australian. I have the luxury of appreciating both American and British humour because we are pretty much a pathetic hybrid of the two nations.

Also, I think 69s are overrated. Having my nose right next to the place where poo comes out really messes up my concentration.
