if you only go to college in pittsburgh, then where do you live normally? scottdale? isnt that where you said you were from?
I'm not really sure, but I want to travel abroad. I'm going to apply to the Peace Corp in a few months and see how that works out. I am going to Sweden for a few months next summer and then to where ever I end up after that. I'm considering South Korea if I change my mind about the Peace Corp or if it doesn't work out.
nice that sounds really awesome! i wanna travel abroad too, but i'm still in school so it would be kinda hard always wanted to join the Peace Corp too, but i don't think you can do that while you're a student
hahaha grade 13. do you know people who go to cal u? thats where i go.. ha. everyone from my town goes there we call it grade 13 for connellsville people
Fuck yeah dude...the day i turn 18, im getting the hell out of hear...i love it...but CA and leagal bud, here i come
About half of my high school, or at least half of the half that graduated, go or dropped out of there.
I think that Pittsburgh is a pretty laid back and nice city. There aren't many other cities of a comparable size that have this many huge parks, sports teams (even though I hate sports), universities, art museums, and so on. If I hadn't been stuck in this area for most of my life, then it is probably somewhere I would try to move to.
So which high school did you go to? Connelsville? It always seemed like the rough school full of glowering toughs compared to other local high schools.
yeah i went to connellsville high school. it was an alright school, but full of tough kids who thought they could beat up the world.. lol the mountain kids! as we called them what high school did you go to?
I went to Southmoreland. It was really small and lame. I definitely know what you mean about the mountain kids, though. I know Connelsville and Mt. Pleasant had most of them, but Southmoreland was pretty inbred when I was there.
haha yeah.. the mountain kids were crazy what year did you graduate? my cousin went to southmoreland he just graduated this year though.
I graduated in 2005. I really hated every moment of high school. I've never met so many stupid, racist, homophobic, sexist people in the same place... and then there were the students.
i really liked high school.. i used to hate it, cause i got involved in a lot of drama but my senior year was great cause i was like fuck all these stupid lame ass people that go here, and i just did my own thing
I guess I worded that awkwardly. I enjoyed that period of my life, but high school was lacking. I never really fit in well and would get into a lot of fights. Everybody knew each other, so I always felt as though my actions were being monitored. I think I'd be less weird now if I had went to a larger school, but I am satisfied with how I turned out, so that's not really a complaint.
