Very true. I have only had about 3 panic attacks in my 6 years of on and off smoking and it was kick me off my ass weed. It never did detour me from smoking though.

When, I had my panic attacks I just tried to remain calm and focus on other things. I would watch movies, talk to friends, anything to keep my mind off it. One of my friends had a bad I mean BAD panic attack. She was freaking out thinking she was dying and she told her step-dad (he was an ems) if she died would he revive her, lol. We just started laughing at her telling her she wasn't going to die. She smoked some killer weed though. The funny thing is she has never smoked since...

I've had what I thought were panic attacks, but they were just paranoia, and then I had a real panic attack. To me a panic attack is when the paranoia overwhelms you, and you can't control yourself physically or stop thinking scary thoughts. Not just a fast heart beat, but like, curling up into the fetal position and shivering, muttering about stuff and/or crying. I had that happen and I believe that was a true panic attack. I laid off weed for about 3 weeks and did some research to be sure it wasn't laced with something. I think I just smoked too much of some quality stuff for my tolerance.

I wouldn't give it up entirely just yet, try smoking smaller quantities. I also find that having a positive environment really helps keep the paranoia away. Try watching a funny TV show, do something to entertain yourself, hang out with friends. the paranoia seems to come on strongest if you are alone in the dark and vulnerabe. GL

Dude....a panic attack can range from mild to severe. There are different levels of panic and everyone reacts differently. For instance, some people may have had panic attacks that just make them cry or freak out, while others, like myself, have had panic attacks so severe that they resulted in seizures/convulsions because their heart/my was beating so fast. I have had plenty of seizures, easily 10+, from being too panicked from marijuana, and I never curled up in the fetal position and cried. It never scared me really, but it was definitely intense and I was definitely panicked and anxious. More curious and anxious than scared. Maybe I'm just slightly twisted, but I actually miss those days. I got stoned as fuck and everything seemed deep as fuck and entirely more meaningful than anything I have ever experienced before. Shit hasn't even gotten that deep during VERY strong trips, whether the trip was on acid, shrooms, or 2ce, etc. Weed is the greatest drug in existance. haha

I'm pretty sure the alcohol could be making your panic attacks worse. Try dumping thr alcohol instead.

    Peace,
    Sir

actually alcohol is more likely to prevent panic attacks, though I guess it could do the opposite for some people.

i wouldnt realy suggest this normally but your case is pretty heavy get a prescription for valium for your panic attacks (diazepam) pretty easy to find with out prescription eat 2,5-10mg and then smoke some preferably indica weed nothing to strong and you cant have a panic attack that's what the meds for. it's a very safe prescription drug allso. actualy the most used in states

One of my friends quit cause of panic attacks, it's a mental thing.

Valium is a good tool in overcoming panic. I have taken it before, but surprisingly, I've never taken it FOR a panic attack, just for recreation. But I DO carry around a tiny pill box with valium in it as a safety net. It makes you feel more confident if you cant calm yourself down, you know you can just take a pill and feel better soon.
I wouldn't recommend anyone talkng medication without going to therapy in collaboration. Medicine is fantastic for short term relief and SSRI's are good if you do in fact have a chemical imbalance but in most people with anxiety, they make themselves this way so in theory, they can re-learn their thought process and make themselves feel better.

Diazepam has never done much for me, as far as panic relief or recreation. Alprazolam is where it's at:)
