The government looked at data that showed that children did better in a household with both parents. So they started giving tax breaks and other incentives for marriage. The idea was that married families raise children who excell, and give more back to society. That's their excuse for more control, anyway.

 

Yeah but a state run healthcare system is not right wing. A right wing healthcare system would be a privately run healthcare system.

I don't see anything cheap about scratcho's post. The only thing a middle class worker has is his or her ability to work. That is a true statement, what's cheap about it?
