I think I have an in... there's a pizzaria up the street that wants to hire ASAP.
it's a family place, and i'm in the neighborhood!

 

chilly this morning. slept in this apartment for the last time last night, it was pretty strange.

fucking construction on the road started before 7am this morning right outside my window. big truck pulls up and starts unloading these huge concrete things. that has to violate some sort of by-law, right?

 

Lovely cool walk at the park this morning. Grace even wanted to run around for a change. The past two weeks have been too hot for her to want to do that frisky running and jumping around.

 

Nahh.... It just violates your senses.

sometimes carpet cleaners can make your carpet more dirty in the long run. the crappy ones end up leaving soap behind which then actually makes the carpet more dirty. make sure you get a decent one

 

hopefully about to get picked up by my buddy, buy a nice amount of dank, and a new piece not sure what yet gonna browse couple local places, and then go smoke at various locations. havent smoked in 3 weeks at least. going to be fun.

for the cost of cleaning here. 99.00 a room, I can fit a whole room with new carpet for 200.00 ..

 

do you install it yourself? if you don't have to do any seaming, it's pretty easy as long as you have a knee kicker or can borrow one from someone.

 

ive a knee knocker. I have hand made ones too, just screws that come thru a piece of lumber. all my rooms are 13X13 so no, I really dont need to use it, cause 12x12 just falls into place..
I just tore out 4rooms of carpet. hardwood smells better than dog. I have Area rugs tho. now only two rooms are really wall to wall. but the dog dont go there..

Does anyone else not care about the royal baby? It's odd to me that these people are still held in such high regard. They do nothing but eat up tax money. Maybe as an American I just don't get it. I mean we did have a war to get away from this royal family. That wife of his has done her job though. Produce a male heir that is not related to them. They had enough of marrying their cousins, they need a peasant.

I got a 2 day rental including the cleaning solution for 55 bucks

I have 2 rooms and a staircase but this rig will also do floors or upholstery...its a good one...from loblaws..

 

i like all babies. and will + kate seem very real and sweet.
is royalty old-fashioned? yes. but its a part of history, and so long as they arent lopping off heads or eating hearts i dont care.

except that theres a baby, and i love babies. i want more babies and cant have them yet, so i have to live vicariously through others.

 

I :love: babies too, and let my son know that I look quite forward to grandbabies...not that he pays me the least attention.

Around here I sort of think it is ridiculous that one of our tv stations had what they called the "Royal Baby Watch"...the baby born the closest time to the royal baby would get something...recognition, a sticker, diapers or what I don't know. lol

I think it's interesting and I like Will & Kate. I don't understand all the hate they get both here in the US and that expressed here on hf (from Brits themselves).
