Past tense of wake-n-bake

only woke n boke has ever seemed right...& i'm surprised at these ressults since i've always only heard woke n boke

okay, I will admit defeat this time.

 

I just asked my friend who's a linguist:
If using 'wake and bake' as a single verb, the correct past tense/past participle is 'wake and baked'.
If using 'wake and bake' as two verbs linked by a conjunction, the correct past tense is either 'waked and baked' or 'woke and baked'.
If using 'wake and bake' as two verbs linked by a conjunction, the correct past participle is 'waked and baked' or 'woken and baked'.

This applies to the 'wake' portion and 'toked' can be used interchangeably with 'baked'.

So technically, depending on usage, all are grammatically correct, except 'woke-n-boke' of course.

 

Glad someone disproved that lame excuse of a word 'boke'

I think woke and boke is what i would say if using it in a sentance.

but correct term would be wake-n-baked because we use the words 'wake n bake' as a phrase, a slang, not to mean the actual words seperately 'wake and bake'

and woke-n-toked works in some sorts of sentances, and is innovative

Before I even read the options for the poll I said to myself "woke and boke" and laughed, but its really an option on here! haha

I voted for woke and boke, because I said that before I even read the poll options, but I would say the correct way of saying it is wake and baked!

 

i love stoners. i've thought about this before too. i say woke and boke just for kicks. wake and baked seems more correct though.
if we were going to be totally proper though, keeping in mind that we must still rhyme, since that's the stoner rule, lol, then it should be woke and toke.

 

woke n boke, because by the time i start committing to saying the past tense of wake, it's too late to change course without the imminent disaster of mindmelt
