In texas you can get fired for being gay. If they fire you for that reason they dont have to tell you thats why, and you cant do anything about it, (it happend to a friend of mine from a local business)
You made a very good point, and despite what I said before, I can see the situation through Paul's eyes. If there was a set agreement regarding no meat, then those workers were expected to stick to the agreement. If they could not follow through, then they should have been upfront with him rather than sneaking around. If there was no such agreement, however, then what Paul did was a bit out of line. To me, it all depends on what the specific circumstances were.
if i find out non-biased what really happen i will boycott and write letters but not until i get the full story
any proof of this or is everybody just assuming? I see NO links, no proof one way or the other. As for working in the biz, I have a drummer friend who was fired by a certain red-headed cross-eyed millionaire country singer for toking BETWEEN TOURS. When you sign on for a tour (and artists can't fire workers at the venues, they can complain, and get 'em moved out of their awareness) you usually sign on for whatever restrictions the artist places. Non drinking artist/ artist in recovery? likely there'll be a no drinking clause.
I read the article, and if I learned anything in English its that arguments that biased are unreliable sources. "The entire agenda of the gazillion-dollar-financed joke known as PETA literally is dedicated to outlawing meat."(Nugent) I mean really...hardly anyone likes PETA, but he makes that claim and many other outrageous ones. the article then goes off on some crazy tangent about gun control laws. It’s a bad source, and it’s the only one I could find.
OK. This could be possible, but not without importing the right plant foods from thousands of miles away, if one happens to live in the far North. As far as Nugent being a jerk, that is just your opinion for sure.
I think you need to knwo the whole story with out bias's, which probably isn't going to happen As far as I go, I wouldn't have done it, and he shouldn't have, but I don't think he should lose respect
I would believe Ted Nugent over anything vegenazis put out. If individuals choose to be vegetarians this is fine with me, I do not have a problem with it. When they start putting clauses in workers contacts, for them not to eat meat, this is going too far. This is what Paul McCartney is said to have done. Different peoples who have lived in certain environments over many centuries acquire certain tendencies. Some of these tendencies include diets that contain meat. Some people can live healthy lives as vegetarians, and some could do much better with meat as part of their diet. I have read through most of a book called, Eat Right For Your Type, by Dr. Peter J. D'Adamo & Catherine Whitney. As one example: People with the blood type A most commonly have problems with almost all meat foods, while generally people with types B, AB, & O can handle meat foods better, and some meats are of course beneficial for them.
i live in a cold climate for the majority of the year (and i mean REALLY cold) and I'm a vegetarian. meat don't keep you warm unless your rubbing down with lard or something before you go outside. you DO NOT need meat to live in any way shape or form.
sir paul mccartney can do whatever he wants to really, he and the rest of the beatles basically invented hippy and psycadelic music, every musician from then and now respectes him he wrote the most covered, and played song ever. as well as 21 sucessful solo records and always is the #1 grossing tour act. firing u for what u believe is wrong, but firing u for not keeping a tour agreement is fine, boycotting him would be just like the beatle burning for john speaking his mind. plus, as the selfproclaimed royal highness, king of cosmania and all surronding regions. he can do what he wants. p.s. he never beat heather either powere to the peple tim.
I think that people should respect other peoples choices in lifestyle and the fact that Paul McCuntney happens to be a knight doesn't give him justification... nothing does. To fire his staff over food choice is what I take as the sign of a biggot. He is high on himself and his shitty music. I mean seriously, I worked at Starbucks on Paul McCuntney day and they were playing his new album ALL FUCKING DAY and like has anyone heard that song Vintage Clothes? what a fucking load of donkey shit! - "We are what we wear and what we wear is vintage clothing" first of all, our clothes don't define us - Paul is fake.
he said we are what we are, not we are what we wear. firing someone who works for him is not being a biggot if hes a selfproclaimed vegatarian itd look bad to go backstage and see everyone around him eating meat thatd make him look like hypocrite. if his solo music is shitty he wouldent have so many hits, and his lp debuted at #3. but everyone has the right to their opinion of music.but if u take into account that hes played virtually every instrument on his last 2 lps, that aint shitty. and none of the beatles ever made music as good solo, for the simple fact that there was only 1 of them and not four, there no competition to stick out, anyone who dosent respect{not personlly listen to} what the beatles did is either jealous or just stickin up for who they think is the best. i think the beatles set the standard, but hendrix was the single best guitar player ever{ even the beatles thought so}. peace, love, and power to the people.tim
Sorry Dan, I have to take exception to the term vegenazis. Not only does this put you on the same level as Rush Limbaugh and his Feminazis term, but it softens what the real Nazi party did to Jews, Gypsies, transients, and the mentally and physically handicapped people of their own country. And for the record, I am an omnivore.
