Dude, I loved outlaws! I'd totally forgotten about that game, yet I spent so many hours playing it as a kid.
Me too, I played it again a year or go but couldn't help being a bit bothered by the graphics... Happily I'm now shooting cowboys once again in a rocky mine :cheers2: Looking forward to Red dead redemption very much as wel!
I should say freespace 2. it's okayish to download it now (the original license said it was okay to copy the cd's and give the copy to friends, and isn't that what bit-torrent is on a very large scale) and that+the source code project has upgraded the game to near to modern graphics in a volunteer\amateur project setting, with some of the most amazing features you will see.
Diablo, Warcraft 3, STARCRAFT! Blizzard games are amazing. Rise of Nations. Halo (original) Left 4 Dead Farcry!
It's a lot better in almost every way, except the length (it's not much longer as Gun) and there's not much free roaming to do (but the free roaming area's that you come across are pretty awesome, not really large but looks great and more fun than the side missions in Gun). Gun was kinda disappointing indeed. Although I did enjoy it, it wasn't great by any means. Characters were cool, but story a bit over the top. I did like a lot of things as well though. But I just have a weakness for the setting
