Peace....a sign of Satan????

Anyone who signs their rights away to live in a gated community shouldn't bitch when they have no rights. Don't sign your rights away and you can display whatever you want on your property. I don't feel sorry for her.

The Peace Symbol Legend has it that it was designed after the Semaphore flag postitions for the letters N and D which stood for Nuclear Disarmament. Other legends have it being the broken crosshairs on a rifle scope.

Some so called Christians that forget that one of Christ's titles is "Prince of Peace" claim The Peace Symbol is Satanic because they don't believe in peace.


It's allways been my belief that a true Christian should allways strive for Peace.

Pagosa Springs is a cool town. The first time I was there was in 1986. So much has changed since then. If you even vacation there you need to check out the hot springs. Sitting in a hot spring overlooking the river, what a spot. This is a must see for anybody that is within a day drive, or looking for a nice vacation. PS, stay out of the lobster pot!!!

 

Man, it's this kinda stuff that's a real drag. It basically goes to show that the drama doesn't stop after High School.

If the woman had any sense she would fight this as an invasion against freedom of expression. That is what free speech is. Its not simply the right to express yourself vocaly but more important than that it is the right to make your vocal thoughts subliminally expressed in a visual or musical medium amongst other forms

 

There is another post in the hippy forums about this, and it's more up to date. She didn't take it down, and after it was all said and done......the guy was forced to apologize, and they now have a peace sign on the towns water tower. Plus the wreathes apparrently started popping up all over the area. It was a sign to me that there is still hope for this place we call America after all.

I'm going to tell you a secret. The reason teachers and hate freedom of speech, aside from thinking they're #1 and like to feel powerful, they know that they're pushing an attitude on kids that lasts. It's not a coincidense that it doesn't end, it really is the same thing.

Also, glad this had a happy end! The guy who cried wolf in the first place ended up unifying people against him, which in my opinion, is why dissent is necessary.
