Doing nipple piercings young can have vary negative effects however. No matter how young someone hits puberty the milk ducts in the nipple (male and female) still develop and grow for many many years. Damaging the ducts while theyre still maturing can cause problems later on, especially for breastfeeding mothers obviously. Add to that the possible risk of mastitis and yeah.. Id advise against piercing nipples too early.

Clit piercings are dangerous in general, and too many piercings do it without proper knowledge of risks. Hood piercings are very low-risk but the piercing of the actual clitoral shaft is a huge risk unless the piercee has a rather large exposed clitoris. There is no evidence of this ten-year thing, but the piercing of the clitoris itself is generally regarded as quite risky unless your big down there, and sensation can be destroyed right from the word go.

i haven't gotten any piercings at 18 or after.
