I didn't mean to draw that false dichotomy. My bad. What I meant is that it doesn't make much sense, biologically speaking, for penis size to be top priority when it comes to mate selection. Therefore, I inferred that it's not likely for our instincts to be heavily bent on all things cock. Of course, that doesn't take into account sexual selection, and the whole gay/not reproducing thing throws a wrench in the works, so it's a pretty trivial point in the end.
Whatever you do, dont try and transpose hetero rules onto homo ones, its something that gives gay guys the most grief. Part of what makes us gay comes from side affects of straight alphamales and alphafemales our own age in that 2 to 6 yr range. In fact if you cop the more adult aspects from straight alphamales or alphafemales in that 7 -12 yr range before you start really thinking about sex yourself, then you are being trained away from them and thus the biology that the rest of the straight population follows. You know what an alphamale is, the big beefy type most likely to spread his seed around. An alphafemale are the ones most likely to recieve the seed, that is the ones most about babies. It has nothing to do with what size or shape or how pretty they are, does however have everything to do with the way they look at you So go out, hook up with the guy that most rattles you're cage, whatever he looks like, don't worry so much about whether you're straight friends, or gay friends for that matter think he's not hot enough. They have very differnet interpretations of what is hot
Why the assumption that gay guys don't reproduce? A) Up to 30 yrs ago, the only way for us to hide in plain sight was to be married with kids, just find a girl that only wants to do it to make babies, doesnt require any ongoing maintenance then you can duck around the back of the barn with Ted from across the street every second afternoon B) You dont have to have sex with a girl to get her pregnant, Turkeybasters weren't just invented to baste Turkeys . As for exclusive gay, there's only around 2% of us, you don't think there's roughly the same number of girls that want to have babies but would prefer the hubby to not stick around or just be part time so they can have the kids to themselves? And if its part time, who's going to make the better dad? a gay guy or a straight one? C) Now we have IVF, there was a case here in Aus. last year, an openly gay guy that was one of the judges on our version of 'Dancing with the stars' that had a baby with a long term female friend via IVF, the women was a loaded successful career woman edging 40 D) Past 30 you get to see the difference between gay and straight, I'm generalizing, but gay guys tend to be more active, more social and in better shape and tend to have a far better understanding of women. Girls that have left babies till there 30s tend to have quite a different view than ones in their 20s. The trouble is they tend to be a tad more hormonal so we tend to stay away . But for those of us that do have friends in that situation and trust us enough to know we wont do anything between HIV test and the result; you dont think there might be the rare mutually beneficial arrangement that might crop up? E) You dont think there are married couples out there where the woman is just mainly about the kids, knows the guy is gay centric and is ok with it as long as he doesnt do any risky behaviour, or sticks to one long term friend? So, its not something you'd say in front of straight guys, but when talk of gay adoption comes up...well, it aint our first option
I must be the weirdest one on here - I'm ONLY orally and manually bi and when it comes to a guy - yes I'm turned on when looking at a hard cock, cut or uncut - but its ONLY the cock !!! When in a 3sum (mmf) with my wife I've sucked both uncut and cut and enjoyed them both.
No offense, but I think this type of evolution argument is overused and inneffective at describing the mundane behaviors of people and animals. I think a lot of it simply has to do with personal preference and disposition.
When most people try to make an evolutionary argument, they always make the same mistake and try to make up reasons for behaviours. There are no reasons, its all just a role of the dice, all just a string of probabilities that produce an observed outcome
